Absolutely! We can always adjust your project size and cost based on the actual number of pieces of art you wish to include. Once you send in your art, we can work with you to accommodate a larger project.

Not exactly. The Heartbox works on your timeline, not the calendar’s. When you’re ready to send it in, we’re ready to create your book — whether that’s a school year, a calendar year, or somewhere in between. And if the year gets big, we can always create multiple books. We tell your story through whatever you put in the box.

Yes! We want your book to feel just right and reflect your memories exactly as you envision them. Simple changes – like removing a photo, changing a photo’s orientation, or spotlighting a favorite image on a page – are always welcome and included in your project.

For more extensive changes, such as swapping multiple photos between pages or books, redesigning layouts, or rearranging your selected artwork beyond the original order, a concierge fee starting at $49 per book fee may apply. These fees cover the time and care needed to carefully update your preview and ensure your book remains beautifully designed.

If you asked us to select the best pieces from your collection, please note that changing that selection – especially if it requires digitizing or editing additional pieces – may also incur fees. This helps us manage the time and effort needed to revisit your project while maintaining the high quality of your book.

Absolutely!  We completely understand that life can get busy, and we want you to feel comfortable taking the time you need to review your book preview. Every detail of your project is important, and we want it to feel just right.

To help keep your project on track, we ask that comments or approvals be shared within four weeks of receiving your preview. If more than four weeks have passed without a response, your project will be paused. When you’re ready to resume, a restart fee starting at $49 may apply.  This restart fee helps cover the time it takes to carefully reacquaint ourselves with your artwork and project details.

While your project is paused, it may also be placed further back in our production queue. We’re always happy to continue your project when you’re ready – taking the time to ensure every memory is beautifully preserved is what matters most.

If you order the Digitize Only service, we can usually deliver your USB flash drive within two weeks of receiving your artwork, though this may vary depending on the size of your project.  The Create a Book service typically takes nine to twelve weeks from start to finish. For a fee, we do our best to accommodate rush requests. If you’d like your order expedited, please let us know – or choose the Expedited or Super Rush options when checking out on our website.

Absolutely!  If you want to keep the original artwork, for a small fee we can deliver it to you when we deliver your finished projects.  If you would like us to discard your artwork and deliver back only the finished projects, we can take care of that as well. 

Yes! We include up to 7 photos complimentary, and you’re welcome to send as many additional photos as you like. Once we confirm the total, we’ll provide a cost for any extras.  You’re also welcome to share photos of artwork or memories that are too large for your Heartbox, ones you treasure too much to send, or images you’ve already captured yourself. Additional fees apply based on the number of photos and the time and care needed to carefully edit and enhance them for your book.  We provide a Google Drive for you to easily upload your photos – just ask for details.  Including your personal photos – of your child creating, family moments, or other cherished memories – adds a uniquely heartfelt touch to your keepsake.

You are welcome to send anything that can safely fit in the shipping kit and can be photographed: cards, schoolwork, photos, trophies, pottery, 3D artwork, etc. Make sure all fragile items are wrapped well to avoid damage during transit.
